The University of Indianapolis is creating a special scholarship program. This new scholarship will provide funding for families of public safety employees killed in the line of duty. Children will receive full tuition toward an undergraduate degree. University President Robert Manuel said, “Our intent is to express our support and provide a sense of comfort and security to the people who regularly risk their lives to maintain our safety.”
