IMPD arrested a suspect in the murder of a man found under a carport at an eastside apartment complex. A maintenance worker found Andre Brown, 56, of Indianapolis dead on Wednesday morning at the Bankers Lane Apartments at 24 Wallace Lane. James Satterfield, 53, also of Indianapolis, turned himself into IMPD headquarters late Thursday afternoon. After being questioned by detectives he was arrested and transported by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office to the Arrestee Processing Center for processing. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will make a final decision on the suspect’s charges in the coming days.
