(HOUSTON) — A harrowing ordeal for a Houston mother. A man drove off with her car while her seven-year-old son was sitting in the back seat.

This happened in the parking lot of the Little Bo Peep daycare on Evergreen Drive in southeast Houston.
The thief dropped the boy off a short distance later, and police reunited him with his mother.
The car has also been recovered.
