IMPD is looking for several suspects after a rash of shootings on the northwest side. Police say at least six people were shot and two are dead from separate incidents Monday night.  They say four of the victims were shot on Lake Manor Drive near the Eagle Creek Reservoir, including a ten-year-old girl. This child was injured when she was hit by a stray bullet.  Another incident included a home invasion on West 41st Street and Boulevard Place when two men shot and killed a man. The victim is identified at this time as a man in his 20’s who was visiting the home. There were eight children under the age of 10 in the home at the time of this shooting.

While metro police were busy overnight with those shootings on the north and northwest side of the city, a robbery led to a police-action shooting. Police were called to a robbery at the McClure gas station on Rockville Road just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday. Officers pursued the suspects onto Interstate-465 until a police vehicle bumped the car in an effort to stop it. The action sent the fleeing car it into a spin.  Once stopped, police say the passenger fled the scene on foot with a gun before police shot him on Lawndale Avenue. The incident shutdown both sides of I-465 until about 6:30 a.m. hampering the early morning rush hours. No one else was hurt.
