The highly anticipated FOX series titled, “Empire,” just added a new cast member. Gladys Knight will play herself in a potential recurring role, according to Deadline. The new series also stars Terrence Howard, Taraji Henson, Gabourey Sidibe, and Jussie Smollet in a hip-hop industry drama series. Lee Daniels and Danny Strong created “Empire,” which is set to premiere in early 2015.
