There are several venues in downtown Indianapolis that are offering free admission on Monday, Jan. 19, in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
To receive free admission to all the White River State Park attractions, all you have to do is donate a non-perishable food item to the Gleaner’s food bank. That includes the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, the Indianapolis Zoo, the NCAA Hall of Champions, the Indiana State Museum & the IMAX Theater. Plus, the Indianapolis Indians are sponsoring a special interactive booth at the state museum. Rowdie will make an appearance and Eskenazi Health will offer free health screenings as well.
Downtown visitors will also receive free admission to the Indiana Historical Society and the city’s world class children’s museum. Plus, on Sunday, January 18, the Indianapolis Museum of Art is offering free admission along with a special program called Speaking of Love.
