If you watched the Super Bowl, then there’s a good chance that you saw the commercial about a new drama on NBC called, “The Slap.”
During the trailer, a young child is seen misbehaving and then tries to hit another child with a bat. A man grabs the bat from the child and then the child kicks the man in the leg. That man responds by slapping the child in the face. It’s definitely hard to watch. But, the TV show is about so much more than a slap. It’s really just the tip of an iceberg. The slap will reveal all the baggage the family members are carrying around.
