Indiana nearly tops a list of states with children who have a parent who’s been incarcerated. The 2011-2012 National Survey of Children’s Health is out now. According to this new list, the Hoosier state ranks second behind our neighbor Kentucky. This list is a project of the Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative that says eleven-percent of children in Indiana have or have had at least one parent in jail or prison.
