It’s hard out here without Mary Mary—at least for one-half of the Grammy® Award-winning duo, Tina
Campbell.
The 41-year-old has taken to Instagram to thank her fans for their support of her recent solo endeavors
and vent her struggles.
Tina explained in a lengthy post that completing and promoting her book I Need A Day To Pray and her
debut solo album It’s Personal is something she has “never done before with limited experience,
expertise, resources, & help to do it.”
A few weeks ago, the “Destiny” singer revealed that her “staff of me, my hubby, the Father, the Son and
the Holy Ghost,” were doing all the required legwork.
Since 2013, the group’s hiatus—which both Tina and Erica Campbell insist is not a breakup—has ushered
in new phases in each sister’s life.
Though Erica has thrived, already releasing two #1 albums, earning a GRAMMY® and six STELLAR®
awards, Tina admits, “Setbacks have worked to distract and discourage me.”
Yet, Tina said she is determined to “move forward because God is with me and if God be for me, who can
be against me-1 John 4:4.”
