Indianapolis —

Police were called to the scene of a disturbance Sunday evening near Stop 12 and Madison Avenue. A man claiming to be the victim of this fight told police it started at a child’s baptism.

He said two brothers came in and began sexually harassing his wife. The three got into an argument, and the man said he gathered his family and left. They got into their SUV and began to drive away when they noticed the brothers were following them in a green Ford Thunderbird.

The man said he feared for his life.

The victim then told police the two men followed him into a parking lot at Stop 12 and Madison. The man said he pulled into a parking lot because he was close to his home and was afraid the men would follow them there.

One of the men then got out of the car and punched him in the face. That’s when police arrived on the scene.

Police arrested one of the men, identified as 30-year-old Adea Picasso. Officers said he resisted arrest until he was subdued by a stun gun. His brother got away. Picasso faces charges of resisting arrest and operating a vehicle without a license.

A police officer later caught up to the brother at an apartment in the 8000 block of St. Peter Street. The brother, identified as 25-year-old Freddy Hernandez, was also taken into custody. He faces charges of resisting arrest, battery and public intoxication.
