Gospel Music Fest- Marion County Fair

WHMB TV40 hosts the Gospel Music Fest 7300 E Troy Ave. Indianapolis, IN.

Sunday, June 18th @ 3pm

Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

If you’re a fan of historic race cars and racing action, head to IMS Friday-Sunday to see more than 500 cars and motorcycles and a collection of drivers who have won a combined six Indy 500 races. Watch the Indy Legends Charity Pro-Am race, the professional Trans Am series, the Mazda Global MX-5 Cup race, The Guess Who in concert, and much more. Tickets are $15-$55.

IndyVolved at the Central Library

This is your opportunity to get connected, get involved, and shape our city! IndyHub’s annual event brings together more than 100 Indy non-profits and civic-minded organizations, all offering a variety of ways you can help. There’s no cost to attend Thursday’s program, but you’ll want to register. Beer and food will be available, and swag bags will be distributed while supplies last.

 

American POP and DANCE! at The Children’s Museum

Opening Saturday, American POP – The Galleries for American Arts and Popular Culture showcase TV shows, movies, music, fashion, and fads that shaped our lives. Learn how pop culture brings us together, even across generations. The first exhibit in the galleries, DANCE!, urges visitors to try their best moves while learning international dance styles.

Taste of Broad Ripple

Broad Ripple Village will be busy Saturday as this festival highlights local restaurants. Kids will have fun face painting, playing in a bounce house, competing in a pizza making contest, and visiting the Colts interactive museum. Adults will want to check out the beer garden and live music from Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press, and more favorites. Tickets are $7.

Talbot Street Art Fair

This annual art fair downtown hosts over 270 artists from across the nation, and is the oldest juried show in Central Indiana. Historic Herron-Morton Neighborhood is home to this free, family-friendly event Saturday-Sunday, which has plenty to see and do for everyone. Explore mediums like photography, jewelry, wood, sculpture, glass, metal, fabric, botanical, leather, and more.
