Are you going through something so tough that it almost feels like nothing can get worse from here, because you have already hit rock bottom?

Don’t fret! There are words in Scripture to remind you that you are not alone and that every day, the Lord is watching over you, and strengthening you—even when you feel your weakest.

Some of the most soothing reminders are found in Lamentations 3:21-24 ESV. Let’s examine these verses together. As you read, you will draw encouragement from them

Lamentations 3:21-22- “But this I call to mind and therefore I have hope; the steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end.” When it feels as though God has left you to drown in the storm you face, remember these words: His steadfast love never stops, nor do His mercies come to an end. God’s mercies are His compassions.

He considers your pain, relates to it through Christ Jesus, and carries you when He knows you lack the strength to carry yourself. The Bible reminds us in Hebrews 4:15 that we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses. In 1 Peter 5:7 we are told that we have a high priest who genuinely cares about us. So cast every one of your cares upon Him.
