A Terre Haute police officer has died from injuries suffered in a shooting on Friday evening.
According to Fox 59, the officer was shot at the Garden Quarter Apartments just before 6:30 p.m. The officer was taken to Regional Hospital to be treated, however Indiana State Police Sgt. Joe Watts tweeted out that the officer had died. See his tweet below:
At this time, the suspect is still barricaded inside the apartment building, Watts reported.
