Celebrate Cultural Diversity at the Multicultural Festival
“Celebrating, Honoring, Embracing Cultural Diversity and Racial Equity.”
Saturday, May 19
Inside Lafayette Square Mall
11AM – 4PM
Festival to Include:
Student work demonstrating the academic benefits of infusing culture and history into the instructional program.
Student and community performances showcasing ethnic music, dance, theater and storytelling from countries around the world.
Creative writing, poetry and artistic presentations on display.
Cultural organizations (including the Freetown Village Singers, pictured), community agencies, universities and individuals who value and embrace diversity.
The IPS/IEA Multicultural Festival is family friendly, free and open to the public.

Principal Hunley of the IPS Center for Inquiry at School 2 joins us live on Community Connection.
The IPS Center for Inquiry is a Magnet Option School within IPS. It is open to all students in Marian County who are interested in a globalization focused program. Some values taught are cultural understanding and respect, through project based learning.
