“FEAR OF A BLACK REPUBLICAN: THE STORY OF JOSE EVANS” – Author Jose Evans Jose Evans

Today we are joined by an African American Republican. If you have any questions for our guest, give us a call at 317-239-1310.

About the book:

“What does it mean to be a Black Republican? What are Black Republicans and what do we stand for? Being a Black Republican is the twenty-first century means being a small fish in a big pond, it means that we are often rejected by our Black community that we seek to serve, but more importantly it means that we are able to embrace republican values/policies/positions while being grounded in our rich Black identity. It means that we are able to collaborate and develop conservative measures to uplift our downtrodden Black communities. Being a Black Republican in the twenty-first century means that we can be a mechanism of positive change in tough times. Jose is the epitome of what a twenty-first century Black Republican represents.”
