Some City Employees have come under fire for reportedly inflammatory facebook live comments directed at the 10 Point Coalition of Indianapolis, saying they “Behave like Prostitutes.”

About the Program:
“Learn the story of Madam CJ Walker (1867 – 1919) – a philanthropist, entrepreneur and hair care industry pioneer – as told from a “different” point of view. Learn about her early life and the rich legacy she created in Indianapolis. This special one-character performance brings her vibrant story and history to life!
She created a rich legacy for women, African-Americans and Indianapolis. This free performance is approximately 30 minutes and will be presented 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the College Avenue Branch Library.”
