Today we broadcasted live from the National Urban League Conference, where more Democratic Candadates running for president spoke. We listened to Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s speech as well as Kamala Harris’s speech live on Community Connection.

Indianapolis Public Schools and IndyGo
Indianapolis Public Schools and IndyGo joins Tina live from National Urban League Convention. IPS and IndyGo have joined together for a new Pilot Transportation Program.
“IPS High School Students Can Enjoy Benefits of Riding IndyGo
***Beginning August 5, students from Arsenal Tech, Crispus Attucks, George Washington and Shortridge can opt to ride IndyGo, the city’s public transit system, to and from school instead of using the district’s yellow school buses. (The program started in 2018 with students from Arsenal Tech and Shortridge.)***
For the 2019-20 school year, IPS and IndyGo are expanding an exciting transportation benefit to all district high school students.”
