On Monday afternoon, Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry announced that he would be stepping down and resigning from his position. He has decided to make this choice for health reasons.
According to RTV6, Curry has been undergoing treatment for prostate cancer since 2015. Curry is in his third term as he was first elected in 2010, then re-elected in 2014 and 2018.
