Deidre “Dee Dee” Gray is the epitome of a “Church Girl” – as the eldest daughter of a Gospel music loving Sunday School teacher and a Gospel quartet singing ordained deacon! A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dee Dee has called Indianapolis “home” for almost twenty years. She began her career at Radio ONE Indy in 2013. Dee Dee is a recipient of Urban ONE’s SPIRIT (Selfless. Professional. Inspiring. Reliable. Inventive. Team Player) Award for her active support of the Sales, Program & Promotion departments, quality customer care and creative consultation to community partners & clientele daily. She is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies & Counseling Psychology. In 2018, Dee Dee earned her Master of Arts in Ministries with a focus in Strategic Leadership and Worship Arts from Indiana Wesleyan University’s Wesley Seminary. She is actively involved in her local ministry, Eastern Star Church, as well as the local church community at-large as a lay minister, worship leader, psalmist and volunteer. Dee Dee is also a member of the service sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Yet, she expresses wholeheartedly that her greatest blessing is being the mother of her only son, Deontre, a graduate of The Ohio State University!
