Fred Yeaky is giving students haircuts for free. He calls his shop, ‘Grooming the Outer Man, Guiding the Inner Man.’ .

He says. “A haircut is not about your initial cut. It’s much like life,” Yeakey said. “It’s not always about getting a fresh cut it’s about maintaining what you have.”

This has helped children without male role models bond.

Providence Cristo Rey High School allows their student’s to be a part of Work Studies.

“We are proud to partner with more than 95 companies from Indianapolis & Carmel. Our students are able to learn from some of the most recognized and acclaimed companies in our area. ”

“All Providence Cristo Rey High School students go to work one day a week during the school year. The money that they earn from their normal hours at a Corporate Work Study site goes towards their school tuition.”

Freshman work on Mondays, Sophomores work on Tuesdays, Juniors work on Wednesdays, and Seniors work on Thursdays. Students spend the day at their work site. Exact arrival and departure times depend on the location of their work site. ”
