June is Family Reunification Month and Child Advocates Inc. joined us live.
“The Marion Superior Court, Juvenile Division, joins forces with local child welfare agencies to shine a spotlight on the importance of reunifying families.”
“Reunification Month is an opportunity to shed a light on the fact that the majority of children in the child welfare system are successfully reunified with their parents.”

Volunteer with Child Advocates Inc.
The Role of a Volunteer:
Our volunteers, who are appointed by the Marion County Superior Court, visit with the child, contact caseworkers, interview parents, look out for medical and educational needs and provide the court with information to help the judge make an informed decision as to what is in the child’s best interest.
Volunteers with Child Advocates ensure each child is placed in a safe, permanent home as soon as possible and that they don’t fall through the cracks of an overburdened system.”
