Season of Sharing

Marshawn Wolley joined us live to tell us about the Season of Sharing. He is a Steering Committee Member of the

African American Legacy Fund of Indianapolis

.

About the Season of Sharing:

“The shared mission of IndyStar’s Our Children initiative and annual Season for Sharing campaign is to harness the power of journalism to make a difference in the lives of Central Indiana youth. Once again, the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust will match your gift dollar-for-dollar. And because IndyStar covers all fundraising and administrative costs, 100% of your gift will go directly to Central Indiana agencies. If you prefer to send a check, please mail it to:
Central Indiana Community Foundation
Attn: Season for Sharing
615 N. Alabama Street, Suite 300
Indianapolis, IN 46204
Thank you for your support!”

Child Advocates Inc. Virtual Volunteer Info Session

This Thursday January 7th, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Become A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Today!
Become a CASA Today! The Role of a CASA:
“Our volunteers, who are appointed by the Marion County Superior Court, visit with the child, contact caseworkers, interview parents, look out for medical and educational needs and provide the court with information to help the judge make an informed decision as to what is in the child’s best interest. Volunteers with Child Advocates ensure each child is placed in a safe, permanent home as soon as possible and that they don’t fall through the cracks of an overburdened system.”
