Shaquille O’Neal is fighting a legal battle this week with his estranged wife, Shaunie. TMZ.com reports that attorneys for the NBA star filed documents that allege Shaunie has no right to file for legal separation in the state of California, as the couple resides in Florida. Shaunie moved to Los Angeles in mid-November, just days before filing papers there related to her impending split. Shaunie stands to get more spousal support in California than she would in the Sunshine state. Shaunie cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation. The couple married in December 2002.
