Hosanna Broadcasting Network is about to launch programming covering the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and parts of Mexico. HBN TV is scheduled to begin broadcasting on a major global communications network in November 2010.

The network will be available 190 cities in the Greater Los Angeles area. Programming will be available on DISH Network® (Channel 20), DIRECTTV® (Channel 20), KNLA TV (Channel 27) and KNLA DT (20.1).

HBN will tape some original programming from its studios in Los Angeles. Christian producers, artists and ministers are invited to submit pre-recorded programming for consideration. It appears that the programming will include health shows, music videos, news segments, movies and much more.

I may be in the minority here, but I am really eager to see a Christian network that does more than rebroadcast church services. I think there is a market for a Christian TV network that is willing to offer viewers quality faith based programming.

What do you think? Would you be interested in having a variety of Christian programming to choose from?
