Indianapolis Colts defensive back Bob Sanders is seeking a second opinion about his injured arm.

Sanders will meet with Dr. James Andrews Wednesday about the injury he suffered in Sunday’s season opener at Houston, the team said in a release Tuesday. ESPN.com reported Tuesday that Sanders tore his right bicep and is out indefinitely – potentially for the rest of the season.

The former defensive player of the year missed most of the 2009 season with left bicep and knee injuries. He has missed more games than he has played in his Colts career.

The team also announced that wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez will sit out this Sunday’s game with a high ankle sprain.
