INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police are investigating after at least two people were shot and killed in separate incidents early Saturday morning.

Officers found a person dead of a gunshot wound on Amber Valley Lane on the city’s south side. Police believe that person turned a gun on themselves. Specific information has not yet been provided.

IMPD were also called to Hubbard Gardens apartment complex off 42nd Street and Meadows Drive around 3:30 a.m. Saturday to investigate a disturbance and found a woman dead from with a gunshot wound.

ARound that same time another person arrived at Community East Hospital suffering a gunshot wound. Investigators believed these shootings are connected.

Witnesses saw two vehicles leaving the scene of shooting at a high rate of speed.
