Home Run Derby Anthem Singer: "I Was Drunk" During Performance

ARLINGTON, TX. — Country singer Ingrid Andress says she was drunk when performing the National Anthem at the Home Run Derby in Texas Monday night.

In a post on X, Andress said she’s checking herself into a rehab facility today to get the help she needs.

The country singer said that was not her last night and she apologized to the MLB, fans and the entire country. Andress said she will let her fans know how rehab is as she hears it’s “super fun.”

Some critics have called Andress’s performance the “worst National Anthem performance in American history.”
