INDIANAPOLIS–Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay told his team that he was proud of the fact that they’ve gone 1-0 in 2025 after their season ended with a 26-23 overtime win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on January 5.

“This year has been a disappointment, but I’m proud that you guys fought back to win in overtime to get us to 8-9. I’m very proud,” said Irsay.

He also went on to say that if a couple of plays had gone their way, then maybe the year would have been different.

“We will work hard. Let’s find a way back to our greatness. That’s what my goal is,” said Irsay to the team.

The Colts missed the playoffs for the fourth straight year in 2024, the longest drought in 30 years.
