AIDS is a global epidemic that affects each and everyone of us and our futures! So its was only right that the AM 1310 Team showed up for support and awareness. This year the Indianapolis AIDS walk saw our very own Midday Personality Donna Schiele and our Program Director “First Lady” Khris Raye as participants! They were coined team “Jesus Walks” as they represented both the station and the cause proudly and doing their part in our 30 Days of Give Back for Radio One!
We ask that all of you continue to support walks and events such as this in your states and communities. The battle with AIDS will not be won if there are not supporters and soilders willing to fight for a solution to the epidemic. We are all truly affected by this disease where its a loved one, close friend or someone in their family or friends. Team Jesus Walks was glad to attend and hope that they have inspired all of you to participate in the future if you haven’t already.
