Acts 2:17 In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams.
Words for the day: Have a Dream
On this MLK day we remember the life and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and we of course remember his famous speech, “I Have A Dream”. In his speech he spoke of the dream he had for his children and his country and some of his dream has come to past. We now have our first African- American Presidents and we as a people have overcome many obstacles, but there is also a part of the speech when he says, “and as we walk , we must pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back.”
We’ve come a long way, but we have far to go. We need to continue to press forward and to dream. You are never too old to dream. I pray you hear and follow the things God yet has for you to do and on this MLK day listen to God’s voice and continue to move forward!
Take that and run with it!
