Last week, Colts punter Pat McAfee was arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct while swimming shirtless in a canal on his day off.

The Colts nevertheless suspended him one game for conduct detrimental to the team.  (It remains to be seen whether McAfee files a grievance regarding the suspension.)

With the Colts on a bye last weekend, the suspension took effect Monday, with the placement of McAfee on the reserve/club suspension list.

The Colts announced that Jeremy Kapinos has been signed to replace McAfee next Monday night against the Texans.  Kapinos punted for the Packers in 2009, averaging 43.8 yards per kick.  He placed 15 of 66 picks inside the 20.

Also, the Colts have officially placed tight end Dallas Clark on injured reserve.  Defensive back Chip Vaughn has been signed to take his place on the roster
