New York, NY– Verity Gospel Music Group landed 25 nominations for the 2011 Stellar Awards. Both Marvin Sapp and Fred Hammond were nominated in seven categories, including “Artist of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” and “CD of the Year.”
Byron Cage, Fred Hammond, J Moss and Marvin Sapp, all Verity Gospel Music Group artists, received nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year.
Additionally, the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy (SAGMA) will bestow special honors on two Verity Recording Artists: Donald Lawrence will receive the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award and Kirk Franklin will receive the Thomas Dorsey Most Notable Achievement Award.
