Myron Williams Combat’s Domestic Violence and Hunger with

His NEW CD, ‘THANKFUL’

Dallas, TX — Flow Music & Entertainment announced today that Myron Williams latest CD release entitled ‘Thankful’ will benefit two important causes through the end of the year. “Thankful”, the sophomore project from world renowned producer and recording artist Myron Williams, will support efforts to bring awareness to domestic violence, and inner-city hunger, two causes that are very important to Myron.

“Right now people are hurting and crying out for relief.  Economically we are living in a time where people are not able to afford there basic needs.  One of the tragedies that I am starting to hear about more and more is the lack of food in homes across the nation.  In some homes the only time children get healthy meals is when they’re at school, and that breaks my heart.  Another concern I have is the increased reports in the media about women being killed in domestic disputes.  Being someone that has seen the affects of domestic violence, I cannot sit quietly while millions of women are being assaulted each year and many of those women sit in the pews of churches in our communities.”  Williams stated.

Flow Music and Entertainment has partnered with Myron Williams Ministries and the new youth initiative, Teens With A View in a campaign called, STOP HUNGER NOW!  Proceeds from the sale of Thankful, which dropped just a few weeks ago, will be contributed to STOP HUNGER NOW!

Dedicated to the promise made by co-founder of Flow Records and former label mate Juanita Bynum, Myron has taken on the fight against Domestic Violence.  This is a fight that became very real to him when Bynum then on his label dealt with a violent attack and very public divorce.  Myron in the midst of it all spoke out against Domestic Violence when many men and ministers in the church would not address the issue.  As a personal statement against Domestic Violence he has pledged to donate $1 from each record sale through the end of 2010 to a Domestic Violence Shelter in his hometown of Dallas, TX.
