WOW Hits 2011 – Christian Music at its Best
Thirty of today’s top Christian hits and artists are featured on the new WOW Hits 2011 record. Released last month, the two-disc album features contemporary, Christian and gospel music.
The WOW Hits series is produced by the three largest Christian music/entertainment companies in the industry, including EMI Christian Music Group, Provident Music Group, and Word Entertainment. The entire WOW branded series (Worship, Gospel, Hits, and specialty releases) currently counts 26 million units in sales.
Wow Hits 2011 includes eleven No.1 songs, and six top five and nine top ten Christian radio songs. Songs featured in the album include Casting Crowns’ “Until The Whole World Hears,” TobyMac’s “Get Back Up,” Francesca Battistelli’s “Beautiful Beautiful,” Third Day’s “Born Again,” Natalie Grant’s “The Greatness Of Our God,” Passion’s (featuring Chris Tomlin) “Our God,” and Tenth Avenue North’s “Healing Begins.”
The album features various genres of Christian music, including rock, pop, hip-hop, and praise and worship. In addition to the album, “WOW Hits 2011: The Videos” DVD was also released, featuring 22 selections from the year’s top Christian artists and music video hits. A deluxe edition is available as well. The WOW Hits 2011 Deluxe Edition includes six never-heard-before remixes from BarlowGirl, Group1Crew, Jars Of Clay, Hawk Nelson, Sanctus Real and Third Day.
