Words of the Day: Don’t Avoid Hard Work
An undisciplined person looks for ways to avoid hard work. Passivity prevails in culture; everything is geared toward making life easier: ride the escalator, take the elevator, get fast-food carryout. But the easy is not always the best way.
Just as we need to exercise our bodies, so we also need to exercise our faith by facing difficult challenges. Use faith to forgive those who offend you and to trust God when you can’t see how problems will be solved. Soon you will enjoy a harvest of righteousness from the disciple you endure today.
Take that and run with it!
