 Nassau, Bahamas — Serving as the follow-up to 2007’s Award Nominated Movie, “WHY DID I GET MARRIED?”, the upcoming drama comedy has the original stars, Tyler Perry, Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Sharon Leal, Tasha Smith, Malik Yoba, Richard T. Jones, and Lamman Rucker, returning to their roles. Directed, produced and written by Perry, “Why Did I Get Married Too?” is set to be released in the U.S. on April 2.

 

On March 29th in Nassau, Bahamas – the Stars, including Mr. Tyler Perry, Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Tasha Smith and Malik Yoba will join Bahamas Department Of Tourism, Bishop Neil C. Ellis and D3 Entertainment Group – as they host an afternoon Press Conference – featuring Mr. Tyler Perry and the 7pm Movie Premier. Four Hundred select media, celebrities and Nassau Elite will convene at The Atlantis Hotel & Resort for this monumental occasion.

Nassau, Bahamas sets the stage for their annual one-week reunion, four close couples share news about their lives and relationships. But, their intimate week in paradise is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Sheila’s ex-husband, Mike, who hopes to break up her marriage with Troy. While Sheila deals with her problem, the others soon realize they too are not immune to the challenges of commitment and fidelity.  “WHY DID I GET MARRIED TOO?’, highlights the problems in the characters’ marriages.

 

Bishop Ellis is spearheading this awesome venture, which will bring the Movie’s main cast of stars, including Tyler Perry, Jill Scott, Tasha Smith and Lamman Rucker back to the island where most of the movie was filmed.  March 29th at Atlantis Hotel and Resort, just five days before the movies’ release, Bishop Ellis will host an exclusive Press and Media Luncheon, where Tyler Perry and cast members will take questions from the media.  The evening will culminate with a grand Red-Carpet Event and the movie Premier.

 

2010 Trumpet Awards Recipient, Bishop Ellis is the Senior Pastor of Mount Tabor Full Gospel Baptist Church in Nassau, Bahamas, one of the fastest growing congregations in the country. He also serves as the 2nd Presiding Bishop in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International and is the Chairman of the Full Gospel Baptist Denomination in the Bahamas.
