Rev. Dr. Theron Williams the Pastor of Mt. Carmel Church wrote the book, The Bible Is Black History. The book makes a significant contribution to the conversations had by this generation–related to the bible–by answering the difficult questions this generation fearlessly poses. He also shares historical images from the ancient catacombs that vividly depict the true likeness of the biblical Israelites. The book aims to not change the biblical text, but to change how people understand it.
Every Tuesday in in the month of February, Rev. Dr. Theron Williams and the Mt. Carmel Church will highlight leaders supporting ideas that empower our people and honor our history.
On week 2 of the series, Dr. Leah Gunning Francis was the special guest. Dr. Francis is the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana. Check out the photos!
