Indiana Black Expo Board Chairman John Thompson explained to Afternoons with Amos Expo’s controversial decision to present a top award to mayor Greg Ballard. The announcement of the award has stirred controversy among some in the Black community. You can hear Thompson’s comments seven and a half minutes into the interview. Thompson and Greg Wilson of the City’s Office of Minority and Women-Owned Business t also talked about Black Expo’s annual three day business conference that runs July 14th – 16th.
