  1. Remain focused on your own goals. If you stay focused on your own dreams and goals you will accomplish the goals that you truly desire.
  2. Avoid mimicking other peoples dreams and aspirations. Keep in mind that everyone is different and has been endowed with different skills, talents, gifts, callings and abilities which therefore will produce different goals. Do what you are truly inspired and gifted to do.

  3. Distinguish which goals are short-term and long-term goals. Working on your short-term goals first will give you a sense of accomplishment after completing them enabling you to have the tenacity to accomplish the long-term goals.

  4. Use your discretion when accomplishing your goals. Do not overwhelm yourself by trying to do everything all at once. If you feel overwhelmed as you are working on accomplishing your goals, know that it’s okay to take a breather and then start up again a little later.

  5. Know that organization is vital. Remember that a “Jack of all trades, master of none, though oft times better than master of one.” If you are a person who has been endowed with many talents, gifts and varied knowledge, it is very important for you to stay organized as you work toward accomplishing your goals. Order in your environment is key to being productive whether you are focusing on one major goal or are a person who has the ability to accomplish many goals.
