FSSA Offices in Marion County start a new system of dealing with those applying for Food Stamps, Medicaid, TANF (aid for dependent children) and other social services. This is the final phase of FSSA reforms that began in September 2010, after abortive effort of privatizing FSSA intake that resulted in a major lawsuit between the State and vendor IBM.  Adrienne Shields and Neal Moore of FSSA appeared on Afternoons with Amos to explain the new procedures, which includes the changing of location of three Marion County FSSA offices; plus an increased use of internet access, use of phones and technology to make FSSA clients less dependent on getting information on their account from a specific caseworker.
