Indianapolis attorney Kay Fleming is the Democratic candidate for Indiana Attorney General. She appeared on Afternoons with Amos to talk about her campaign and the things she’d do if elected the state’s next Attorney General in November. Fleming pledged that as Attorney General she would strengthen consumer protection. Fleming also said her office would do more to protect children from abuses in the state’s Child Protective Service system. Fleming also talked with Amos and listeners about the other Attorney General responsibilities including the Do Not Call list, identity theft and victims assistance programs. If elected Fleming would be the first woman Attorney General since Karen Freeman-Wilson in the 1990’s.
