Myron Butler, Grammy, Stellar, and Dove Award-winning artist and producer, directs the NFL Players Choir at the 14th Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration at the University of New Orleans’ Lakefront Arena.

For 14 years, the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration has been the event at which Grammy Award-winning artists and renowned guests collaborate on stage at the beginning of Super Bowl weekend.  A performance by the NFL Players Choir, composed of current and former NFL players, is the much-anticipated performance of the celebration.

“The last two years were absolutely incredible, so I’m excited to be a part of this experience for the third year,” says Myron Butler, Gospel artist and five-time Stellar Award winner.  Butler, who currently serves as Musical Director at The Potter’s House Mass Choir in Dallas under the leadership of Bishop TD Jakes, is no stranger to overseeing numerous voices and producing a polished sound.

At this year’s event, Sherri Shepherd, co-host of ABC’s “The View,” will host alongside seven-time Grammy-award winning artist Kirk Franklin. Fantasia is set to headline the event, which will also include artists such as Bishop Paul Morton, Marvin Winans, and Donnie McClurkin.  The highlight of the event, however, is undoubtedly the performance by the NFL Players Choir, which includes more than 40 professional football players.  This choir, directed by Butler, is featured at the only concert officially endorsed and authorized by the league.

A portion of the proceeds from tickets will be donated to local and national charities.
