POLICE STILL LOOKING FOR KILLER OF INDIANAPOLIS MAN

The family of 67-year-old Thomas Tefft is pleading for answers this morning, after he was shot and killed in a Home Invasion.

The Teffts moved here a few years ago, after reading that Indianapolis was one of the best places to live. Thomas’s wife who was in the home at the time, is struggling both emotionally and physically as she battles breast cancer.

Police are still looking for the killer and the stolen 2009 Hyundai Sonata vehicle taken from the garage.

80 MINORS FOUND IN INDY BAR

An Indianapolis bar was cited early Sunday morning after police found 80 minors inside The Early Bird Bar and Grille bar. Dozens, some as young as 13 were drinking alcohol.

Officials said police initially went to the bar to investigate a flier advertising a 13-year-old girl’s birthday party.

They ended up arresting 80 minors and citing the bar for numerous violations. Officials will seek to revoke the Early Bird’s liquor license.

 

PRIVATE JET CRASHES INTO SOUTH BEND HOMES

Two people are dead this morning, after Authorities say a private jet apparently experiencing mechanical trouble crashed in South Bend.

The private jet was experiencing mechanical trouble when it crashed yesterday hitting three homes, and becoming lodged in one of them. Herwig says the Beechcraft Premier I twin-jet had left Tulsa, Okla.’s Riverside Airport and crashed near the South Bend Regional Airport on Sunday afternoon.

Several Injuries were reported, and at least one resident may be missing.

Two other people were also onboard that plane, and they are recovering at hospital.

IMPD Detectives are investigating the discovery of a deceased infant.

The body a was found in a creek in the 1500 block of Fenwick Avenue around 11 Sunday Morning.

People watching the investigation said the infant appeared to be only days old.

POLICE SHOOT SUSPECT IN CARMEL

Carmel Police have shot a man following a domestic situation.

Police were called to a neighborhood near 96th Street and Ditch Road around 3:15 this morning on a threats to life call.

Carmel Police say the suspect was making threats to his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend.

When police arrived the suspect exited the vehicle turned toward officers, showed a gun.

That’s when police shot the suspect.

He is now at St. Vincent Hospital where he will undergo surgery.

 

BILL MAY HAVE SENT MITCH DANIELS TO JAIL 

Close, but no Cigar this morning, after a potential passing of a bill at the Statehouse could have sent Former Governor Mitch Daniels to jail.

The bill proposed by democrats, would have made it illegal for a anyone from the governor’s office leave and become President at a  state university, as Daniels did with Purdue University in January.

But, With the Republicans’ big House majority, Daniels was never really in serious jeopardy.

 

LIL WAYNE NEAR DEATH?

What is going on with Lil wayne? The Grammy-winning rapper apparently suffered a seizure and “is recovering,” .

Drake and an entourage of Wayne’s Friends set up a vigil at the Los Angeles hospital, where Lil Wayne is being treated.

Twitter lit fueled with rumors after TMZ reported that Wayne was near death.

A Tweet was sent out from Lil Wayne’s Twitter account saying “I’m good everybody,”… “Thnx for the prayers and love.”

The Young Money record label, acknowledgeding  that Lil Wayne had a seizure but is strongly

Denying that he was in a medically induced coma.
