2 People Shot Near Lafayette Square Mall

Metro police are investigating after two people were found shot near Lafayette Square Mall late last night.

One of the victims was found shot in a nearby neighborhood the other was outside the Shoppers World store.

Both victims were taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Police have not released any information about the identity of the victims or possible suspects.

 

 

Golf Course Burglar Arrested

An Indianapolis man believed to be responsible for burglaries at several area golf courses has been arrested

Surveillance footage from Winding River Golf Club shows 36  year old Benjamin Kalal, breaking in through the front door, hitting the snack bar and the front register then heading back out the door in under a minute.

Metro police arrested Kalal a mile away with $300 cash.

Court Upholds Life Sentence for Indiana Murderer

The Indiana Supreme Court has upheld a life without parole sentence for an Indiana man who killed a woman and her two children in 2006.

Daniel Wilkes, said he was high on meth and had been awake for a week before the deaths of Donna Claspell,  and he children Avery  and Sydne.

Police found the bodies inside their locked home in Evansville.

Wilkes was originally sentenced to death, but a judge dropped that to life without parole in 2011.

 

No New Clues In Deaths of Mom and Children

Questions still remain, weeks after the deaths of a woman and her two children.

The bodies of Jamie Clutter and her 2 children, were found in a southern Indiana Creek on March 13.

Investigators say don’t have all the information they need to solve the case.

Authorities have said the children drowned, but the cause of their mother’s death remains undetermined.

In the days after the deaths, Michael Clutter, Jamie’s husband, told police he came home to find his wife and children missing and doesn’t believe his wife took her own life and those of their children.

 

Indianapolis Among Worst Dressed Cities

You might want to check what you are wearing, because apparently When it comes to fashion, the Circle City isn’t lookin so hot.

Indianapolis came in 10th place on a recent list of Worst Dressed Cities in America.

The rating is based on several factors, including the amount of high end clothing, jewelry and shoe stores.

A few of the cities worse than Indy, Louisville, Jacksonville, El Paso, Wichita and Colorado springs.
