Homicide detectives are investigating after two men were found fatally shot inside a car on the city’s east side.
Officials were called to 42nd Street and Franklin Road after a store owner noticed the car parked perpendicularly outside his store.
Police said the victims, who are both in their 20s, were shot multiple times. One victim was found in the front seat of the car. The other victim was found in the back of the car.
The victims’ identities haven’t been released.
Police don’t know how long the car had been outside the store. They’re hoping surveillance tapes from nearby businesses will reveal something.
