How was this year’s 43rd Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration? That’s what Afternoons with Amos asked in the 10th annual community evaluation of the long time major event.  Listeners were asked “What was good, What was not so good and what could be improved” for next year’s Black Expo.  Listeners were also asked if they didn’t attend Expo what would make them come back.  Listeners talked about many positive Expo events, especially the Health Fair and the Free Concert.  Others complimented Expo on their family focus.  Areas for improvement including concerns about the high price of parking, food and exhibit booth space, especially for small businesses. Listeners also expressed concern about the large police presence and the fear many had of not coming downtown because of fear of violence.  Click to Hear the community discussion and the many positive, constructive suggestions on how to make Indiana Black Expo better.  Click the Arrows to Hear Each Hour of this Special Afternoons with Amos broadcast.  Hour 1 Runs 53 Minutes.   Hour 2 runs 41 Minutes ©2013 WTLC/Radio One.
