(Rankings were formulated based on frequency of consumption year-round, table presence and general notoriety that author Shawn Christ complied from Onward State.com.)

10. Corn

I think this is a basic staple for many people. Not so much at my house though.

9. Dinner Rolls

Yum… my favorite? Sis. Shubert’s.  A must have in my household.

8. Mashed Potatoes

Okay, I am going to be honest, we dont eact mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, but many people do.

7. Green Bean Casserole

Once again, another thing we do NOT eat on Thanksgiving. We do green beans. Fresh green beans at that, but No to the casserole part.

6. Sweet Potatoes

Yes, candied yams at that. This is a must have for us at thanksgiving, with plenty of butter and brown sugar.

5. Cranberry Sauce

Raise your hand if you always forget this! LOL! We always have to run out and get a can of cranberry sauce. I personally like it. It’s not Thanksgiving without it.

4. Gravy

Only if you know how to make it. No lumps…must have good flavor.

3. Turkey

Thought it would be number one, huh? Most people are  frying their turkeys now- a -days. Either way, this is a thanksgiving staple!

2. Pumpkin Pie

Now, I am more of a fan of sweet potato pie, but that’s just me!

1. Stuffing (or Filling)

This is number 1! Can you believe it? I can. My mom is SERIOUS about her stuffing. And it betta not be dry! She does not play that. Do I know how to make it? Nope, but i guess I should learn. What’s Thanksgiving without it?

What’s your favorite? Let me know!
