Steve Talley, a City-County Councilman, is running for the Democratic nomination for Lawrence Township Trustee. As part of its Campaign Tuesdays coverage of the 2014 Primary, Steve Talley appeared on Afternoons with Amos to talk about his campaign and what he would do for the residents of the northeast side township. Talley talked about the good shape the current Trustee, Democrat Russell Brown has done moving the Township from a deficit to a solid $2 million dollar plus surplus. Talley pledged to continue building on that record of financial responsibility while serving township residents in need of emergency services. Talley feels his past experience on the City-County Council will help him better help Lawrence Township residents if elected. Talley is opposed in the Democratic Primary by Paula Redden. She was unable to appear on Afternoons with Amos‘ Campaign Tuesdays due to a schedule conflict.
