She also announced for artists’ CD’s such as Kurt Carr, the late Bishop Walter Hawkins on Love Alive V and many more. She would announce and help back stage for the national Gospel Music Workshop of America conventions all over the country. She also recorded a project with the late Billy Preston “Words & Music” (Levitical Worship) in 1996. She was an announcer  for radio show on Sunday mornings at KPFK 90.7 FM in LA Sunday mornings from 6 – 8 am Pacific time. A member of the GMWA Southern California Chapter, LA Chapter and GMWA Gospel Announcers Guild.

Edna Tatum went home to be with the Lord that she spoke of on March 14, 2014 after a brief illness. She will be sorely missed by the Gospel community, family and friends. No arrangements have been made as of yet. Let us keep all of her family and friends lifted in prayer.
