Opportunity for Indianapolis Adults to Help Tutor Children in Our Area
OASIS, is a national nonprofit educational organization designed to enhance the quality of life for adults 50+. Offering challenging programs in the arts, humanities, wellness, technology and volunteer service, OASIS creates opportunities for older adults to continue their personal growth and provide meaningful service to the community. If you are interested in tutoring 2nd or 3rd grade students for 30 minutes twice a week please attend a mandatory 2 day training. The training will take place January 13 -14 9:30 a.m. – 12 noon held at The United Way of Central Indiana located on 3901 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis. You must attend both days of training to be certified. You will only be tutoring one on one wit5h one student twice a week.
